Computer History Museum – “Revolution: The First 2000 Years of Computing”

This project required extensive pre-construction, design assistance, cost feasibility and value engineering throughout the 6 month Design & Development stages. The result was a 2 Phase face-lift of a Silicon Valley landmark to create over 25,000 SF of World Class exhibit space featuring one of the largest collections of artifacts and media covering the first 2000 years of Computing as well as over 10,000 SF of Public space including the Orientation Theater, Gift Shop, Café Kiosk and Event Lobby.

Working directly with the Museum Staff as well as the Architect, Engineers; Exhibit, Lighting and A/V Designers; fabricators and installers for all systems allowed MAI Industries the tight control of project parameters necessary to complete the Museum on time and on budget. The hard construction was completed over 8 months at a total project cost of approximately $19 million.
